This is House Magnum Opus. We are an English ducal household in the year 1357. After following the heroic Prince of Wales on campaign through France, culminating in the capture of the French king John II, we have returned home to manage our affairs.
It is a fine time in England. The French have been shown their place, the dastardly king of Scotland has not yet secured his release to return home, wool prices are booming, the plague has withdrawn (and may it never return!), and now to deal with those pesky laborers wanting higher wages….
